Welcome to K9 Country! I’m Mindy, the proud owner and primary caretaker of K9 Country. As a dedicated mom, wife, and avid animal lover, I’ve always dreamed of creating a safe, loving space where dogs can feel at home while their families are away. That dream became a reality when we opened the doors of K9 Country in December 2022. At K9 Country, we strive to create an environment where dogs feel like part of our family and owners can rest easy knowing their pets are in good hands. You’ll often find my son assisting with the care of the dogs, as he loves spending time with them and is an invaluable part of our team. I dedicate my days to caring for the dogs, with a strong passion for making sure each one feels comfortable, safe, and loved during their stay. I have three dogs of my own—Odie, Agnes, and Reba—and when I’m not at K9 Country, I enjoy spending time at my mom’s farm or with my family and friends. I also raise and show Miniature Horses. We are truly grateful for the trust our customers have placed in us since opening, and we find great joy in watching returning dogs excited to come back, as well as helping new dogs feel at ease in a boarding setting. It’s incredibly rewarding to witness the growth in each dog as they build trust with us, allowing us to bring out their true personalities.
